ALL TOGETHER

CELEBRATE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

JULY 19 | 20 | 21 | 22

4 DAYS

4.000+ PARTICIPANTS

20+ SPORTS

The EuroGames stand for genuine participation. In Frankfurt 2028, we aim to continue this tradition and are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and accessible multi‑sport event – in line with our motto Sport, Democracy and Freedom – United in the Heart of Europe. Our measures will follow the recommendations of the EGLSF and will be developed in cooperation with local organisations and human rights institutions.

Gender Diversity

We want to enable everyone to participate according to their identity.

  • The registration process will include all options of gender identification.
  • Competition categories will be designed as diversely as possible. If a category does not reach the minimum number of participants by the registration deadline, we will propose a suitable alternative to ensure fair and viable competition formats.
  • We actively promote the participation and visibility of FLINTA individuals and ensure diverse representation among referees, presenters, and commentators.
  • Ungendered toilets, showers, and changing rooms will be available at all venues.

Diversity, Equity & Social Inclusion

We aim to reduce barriers and reach people who are often underrepresented in sport.

  • We support LGBTIQ* individuals from Eastern Europe, other marginalised regions, and people with limited financial resources through targeted outreach and financial relief.
  • Our goal is to create equal opportunities and broaden participation across communities.

Physical Disabilities & Accessibility

We want to ensure that people with physical disabilities can participate fully in the EuroGames 2028.

  • All sports venues and event locations will be selected or adapted according to accessibility standards.
  • We ensure wheelchair‑accessible entrances, barrier‑free routes, suitable sanitary facilities, and sufficient space for mobility aids.
  • Wherever possible, we offer inclusive or adaptive sports options that enable participation for people with different physical abilities.
  • Detailed information on the accessibility of each venue will be published transparently so that participants can plan their involvement with confidence.
  • Our team works closely with local disability organisations and accessibility experts to continuously improve our measures.

We apply an intersectional approach, recognising that individuals may experience overlapping forms of discrimination and structural disadvantage and we continuously review and improve our approach – so that the EuroGames 2028 send a strong message for diversity, respect and democratic values.
