Frankfurt wird EuroGames-Stadt – und du kannst Teil davon sein!
2028 kommen die EuroGames nach Frankfurt: ein internationales Sport- und Kulturereignis, das queere Sichtbarkeit feiert und demokratische Werte stärkt. In einer Zeit, in der Vielfalt und FLINTA*-Rechte unter Druck geraten, setzen wir gemeinsam ein Zeichen – sportlich, solidarisch und sichtbar. Sport steht dabei nicht nur für Leistung, sondern auch für Respekt, Fairness und Teilhabe. Du kannst als ehrenamtliche/r Volunteer mitgestalten, damit die EuroGames mehr werden als ein Event: ein Impuls für eine offene Stadtgesellschaft. Ob Organisationstalent, Community-Erfahrung oder einfach Lust auf gesellschaftliches Engagement!
Diversity, FLINTA* und Inklusion
Damit die EuroGames ein sicherer, empowernder Raum für alle werden, braucht es Menschen mit Haltung. Du setzt dich für eine offene, diskriminierungsfreie Gesellschaft ein? Dann hilf uns, die EuroGames als ermutigenden Raum für FLINTA*-Personen und vielfältige Communities zu gestalten – mit Sensibilität, Haltung und praktischer Umsetzung. Du bringst Awareness-Kompetenz, Erfahrung in inklusiver Arbeit oder einfach den festen Willen mit, Vielfalt sichtbar und erlebbar zu machen.
Kulturprogramm
Zu den EuroGames gehört auch ein Kulturprogramm, das Frankfurt in seiner Vielfalt zeigt und Menschen verbindet. Du begeisterst Kulturschaffende und Institutionen in Frankfurt für die EuroGames und baust Brücken zwischen Sport, Kunst und Gesellschaft. Du aktivierst Netzwerke, entwickelst ein vielfältiges Kulturprogramm entlang des Mottos und sorgst für kreative Synergien. Dabei koordinierst du Formate, Termine und Orte, verknüpfst lokale Initiativen und internationale Perspektiven und machst Kultur als Teil der EuroGames-Identität sichtbar.
Volunteers & Security
Ohne engagierte Volunteers funktionieren die EuroGames nicht – sie sind das Rückgrat des Events. Du entwickelst Stärken- und Anforderungsprofile für die verschiedensten Aufgabenbereiche, gewinnst engagierte Volunteers und bereitest sie mit Briefings und Tutorials vor. Du ermittelst die Bedarfe in den einzelnen Bereichen, erstellst Einsatzpläne und sorgst dafür, dass sich alle Volunteers informiert, eingebunden und wertgeschätzt fühlen.
Outreach
Outreach ermöglicht Menschen die Teilnahme an den EuroGames, die sonst schwer Zugang hätten – durch gezielte Ansprache, organisatorische und finanzielle Unterstützung und persönliche Begleitung. Du machst das Outreach-Programm europaweit bekannt bei Vereinen, Initiativen und Communities, entwickelst Fundraising-Kampagnen und einen transparenten Kriterienkatalog für die Teilnahme. Du konzipierst Angebote vor Ort, betreust Outreach-Teilnehmende und sorgst dafür, dass Teilhabe unabhängig von Einkommen oder Zugang möglich wird.
Event-Orga
Damit die großen Programmpunkte reibungslos ablaufen, braucht es Organisationstalent und Überblick. Du unterstützt die Planung und Durchführung zentraler Events der EuroGames wie Opening und Closing, die Teilnehmenden-Registrierung im Römer, das EuroGames-Zelt im Village und begleitende Programmpunkte wie die Konferenz oder die großen Volunteer-Meetings. Du koordinierst Abläufe, sorgst für reibungslose Übergänge, behältst Zeitpläne und Zuständigkeiten im Blick und packst auch praktisch mit an – damit alles läuft, was laufen soll.
IT, Soft- und Hardware
Ohne funktionierende digitale Infrastruktur bleiben viele Prozesse stehen – du hältst sie am Laufen. Du sorgst dafür, dass die digitale Infrastruktur stabil und sicher läuft – von Hardware über Software bis zu Schnittstellen. Du betreust Datenbanken, Internet- und Intranetlösungen, unterstützt bei App-Einsatz und -nutzung und kümmerst dich um technische Fragen rund um die EuroGames-Plattformen. Dabei denkst du mit, planst voraus und findest pragmatische Lösungen für komplexe Anforderungen.
Content Creation & Reels
Die EuroGames brauchen nicht nur guten Sport, sondern auch gute Stories – und da kommst du ins Spiel! Du hast Spaß daran, Reels und Clips zu drehen, die mal witzig, mal überraschend, mal kritisch sind, aber immer mit Gespür für Insta-Trends. Von spontanen Videos über Fotos bis zu Ideen aus der Community – du machst daraus Content, der queere Menschen genauso erreicht wie Allies. Die Inhalte zeigen: Die EuroGames sind mehr als ein Sportevent – sie sind ein Zeichen für Offenheit, Vielfalt und gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt.

Frankfurt becomes a EuroGames city – and you can be part of it!
In 2028, the EuroGames are coming to Frankfurt: an international sports and cultural event that celebrates queer visibility and strengthens democratic values. At a time when diversity and FLINTA* rights are under pressure, we are taking a stand together – athletic, united, and visible. Sport here means not only performance, but also respect, fairness, and participation. As a volunteer, you can help shape the EuroGames so they become more than just an event: an impulse for an open urban society. Whether you’re organizationally talented, experienced in community work, or simply excited about social engagement!

Diversity, FLINTA* and Inclusion
For the EuroGames to become a safe and empowering space for everyone, we need people with strong values. Do you stand up for an open, discrimination-free society? Then help us shape the EuroGames as an encouraging space for FLINTA* individuals and diverse communities – with sensitivity, integrity, and practical action. You bring awareness skills, experience in inclusive work, or simply the determination to make diversity visible and tangible.
Cultural Programme
The EuroGames also include a cultural programme that showcases Frankfurt’s diversity and connects people. You inspire cultural creators and institutions in Frankfurt to participate in the EuroGames and build bridges between sports, arts, and society. You activate networks, develop a diverse cultural programme aligned with the event’s theme, and create creative synergies. You coordinate formats, schedules, and venues, link local initiatives with international perspectives, and make culture visible as part of the EuroGames identity.
Volunteers & Security
The EuroGames can’t function without dedicated volunteers – they are the backbone of the event. You develop strengths and requirement profiles for various areas, recruit committed volunteers, and prepare them through briefings and tutorials. You identify needs in each area, create deployment plans, and ensure that all volunteers feel informed, included, and appreciated.
Outreach
Outreach enables people to participate in the EuroGames who would otherwise have limited access – through targeted communication, organizational and financial support, and personal guidance. You promote the outreach programme across Europe to clubs, initiatives, and communities, develop fundraising campaigns, and create a transparent set of criteria for participation. You design on-site offerings, support outreach participants, and ensure that participation is possible regardless of income or access.
Event Organization
For the major programme points to run smoothly, organizational talent and oversight are essential. You support the planning and execution of central EuroGames events such as the Opening and Closing ceremonies, participant registration at the Römer, the EuroGames tent in the Village, and accompanying programme elements like the conference or large volunteer meetings. You coordinate processes, ensure smooth transitions, keep track of schedules and responsibilities, and lend a hand wherever needed – so everything runs as it should.
IT, Software & Hardware
Without functioning digital infrastructure, many processes come to a halt – you keep them running. You ensure that the digital systems operate reliably and securely – from hardware to software to interfaces. You manage databases, internet and intranet solutions, support app deployment and usage, and handle technical questions related to the EuroGames platforms. You think ahead, plan proactively, and find pragmatic solutions for complex requirements.
Content Creation & Reels
The EuroGames need not only great sports, but also great stories – and that’s where you come in! You enjoy creating reels and clips that are sometimes funny, sometimes surprising, sometimes critical, but always in tune with Instagram trends. From spontaneous videos to photos to ideas from the community – you turn them into content that reaches queer people and allies alike. The content shows: the EuroGames are more than a sports event – they are a statement for openness, diversity, and social cohesion.
